Looking For a Real Home?
I have been closely following the Primary Elections in the various states to this point. There have been twelve so far in addition to three Special Elections with Hawai’i having a Special Election on May 22.
By my count, 74 Governors, Senators and Congressmen will not be part of the November General Elections, the “mid-terms.” Some of the Governors are stopped by term limits, some Senators and Congressmen are retiring (wonder why?), one has been denied the nomination of his Party for reelection, Bob Bennett of Utah, two have been kicked out in the Primary, Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania and Alan Mollohan of West Virginia,. Two have resigned due to scandal, Mark Souder from Indiana and Eric Massa from New York. Several others are running for another national or state office. (more…)
